 South Mimms Youth Club

The South Mimms Village Youth club is open to all children aged between 8 and 14. It is run by volunteers and is a vital resource within the local community. It helps keep the children occupied and teaches them values, life skills and responsibility. It relies heavily on charitable donations to keep the activities up to date and the doors open.

The Samaritans

Every 6 seconds somebody contacts The Samaritans. They are there for people when they need to talk, anytime day or night. They do not rush, interrupt, or push anyone out of the door. There are no waiting lists and no assessments. The Samaritans are not a religious organisation and so are non judgemental, they are simply there to help.

Guys – I always thought you were mad and now you have confirmed it!! its a great idea and i love the charaties you are supporting. Have a great time on route but why are you not using the beloved Land Rover or the good old Range Rover??
Good luck on the trip and stay safe.

It would not have been such a challenge in a Land Rover Chris, they can rebuild those with their eyes shut – whereas a Subaru Forrester is a bit more of a challenge for them, so yes they are MAD as Hatters ! ha ha
